Yeah, and I will say that my dad, having read the book, thinks that he was very involved when we were little.
So in his defense, and when I tried to qualify it, the book didn't make it so.
But he was, I think, an 80s dad.
He was pretty hands-off.
He was not super involved in our daily routines, our bedtimes.
He was doing his own thing.
He was going to the Masonic Lodge.
So my mom left.
All of a sudden, he is the sole parent.
And he had to figure a lot of stuff out.
Like he made dinner for us.
He cleaned the kitchen.
He woke us up.
He packed our lunches.
