Like, OK, I wrote a chapter today.

Or maybe not one week of writing work.

But one day you scroll back, you look through your manuscript, and you're going to see tens of thousands of words written.

You solve plot problems, or you strengthen your characters.

You build something that didn't exist a few months earlier.

Like, when I say that I'm exploring a new genre,

And by me really amping up the outline and really putting as much detail as I possibly can, I've already done the writing process with it.

And we're just now crossing.

I'm getting to a point to where, at least with this first book, because I'm still working on a new series with my sweet romance.

That's my original genre that I started in.

My cozy mysteries is my second genre.

And now I'm adding contemporary Christian romance to my book catalog.

So by me working on this one particular book, which I'm excited about, I even got my husband excited about it.

And he's like, oh man, like this actually sounds like a really good story.

I told him the inspiration behind it.

But even with me doing that,

I've already added over 10,000 words to this new manuscript.

And it was literally nothing probably this time last month.

But again, by continuing to show up, I realized like, wow, I'm a lot further along than what I thought.

And it's very, very possible that I will finish before the end of this year, at least the first draft.
