But just know that when you show up today and if you choose to show up tomorrow and you choose to show up the next day and the next day, the rest of this week, if that, that is all going to compound.

I remember

writing about 10,000, maybe 300, four something words in a week.

And it's not because I wrote a thousand plus words a day.

It's because on Monday, I wrote 200 words.

The following day, I think I wrote a thousand words.

On that Wednesday, I think I maybe wrote 700 words.

I dialed back.

It didn't come, you know, it didn't flow as much, but then Thursday I start and before I knew it compounded.

So just know that your words can compound as long as you keep showing up.

My third point

You'll be further along than you realize, okay?

Remember how consistency builds confidence one week at a time.

You'll realize that you're probably a lot further along than what you thought.

So progress is difficult to notice when you're living it.

When real life is happening and that book's not finished, you're not like, oh man, how am I going to finish this when I got my job and I have the kids, you know, when I'm running my business.

It doesn't feel like it when you're living real life, right?

But one writing session, it may not seem like much.

It may not seem like much.

Neither does one chapter.
