do you ever sit down and look at any of them you ever show the family the kids certainly i do my daughter's obviously three and a half now and i try and say daddy daddy does that as well daddy does the football stuff she hasn't quite grasped it we was at the game yesterday at the wolves game so you know she's getting to you know realize and understand what it is that i used to do she keeps asking me daddy are you playing are you playing and i'm like no no i'm sitting right by you just sit and watch the ipad for another hour
Yes, I'm working in the academy with the academy at Wolves.
There's some great people there.
As you know, Wolves are doing well for themselves now.
It's a great set-up.
I'm working with the strikers specifically now this season.
Last season I had a bit of experience working with the younger players, the under 15s, worked around the under 12s and the 13s, but now I'm specifically working with the strikers.
So I'm trying to obviously get better at that role and help Wolves produce players that hopefully become better people first and foremost, but are able to forge a way into that side that we're trying to build.
Not really, no, not at this stage.
Admittedly, I'm inexperienced as a coach.
I'm trying to learn my way around it.
It's more about my experience in the game, passing that on, combined with the FA coaching badges and bits and pieces like that.
Is it a practical role, though?
That's what it is.
you would think.
To be honest, no, I'm actually in the office more than anything.
I do get out there to support all the coaches across the age groups, but a lot of it is looking at videos, you know, paperwork, presentations to give to the players, to give them that alternate view, viewpoint from, you know, obviously the experience that I've had.
So that's, again, that's in its early stages.
I've opened up a soccer school.
We're going around local schools at this moment in time, just trying to give back, obviously.
