Well, on this day in 1992, Bill Ranford records his second career playoff shutout to lead the Oilers to a 3-0 win over the visiting Los Angeles Kings in Game 6 of the Smythe Division semifinals.
That pushed Edmonton through to the division finals against Vancouver.
