We were humbled for a couple of years and then worked our way back in and I think had a lot of fun in the course of those cup runs too.
There's a lot of great experiences with the guys and a lot of memories and friendships that will last well beyond this game.
So, fond to look back at, but I close the chapter now and move on to the next one here, San Jose.

There's a true belief that with the skill and the talent and the team, it's only a matter of years.
I've seen it when the skill and talent and
um those nuances of the game they all click at once also and you're giving yourself chances to get into the playoffs and you see it time and time again when you get in there anything's possible so um yeah i mean there's definitely gonna be a difference in in coverage and whatnot a team um but uh you know the thing that excites me the most really is the group and the chance the opportunity to go out there and play and have fun and enjoy it and be my best best version of myself

You know, when you play alongside or get to be at these tournaments with guys that are obviously very special, there's attention to detail, there's a
you know, a commitment to the game, a focus, you know, the, you know, practice and the habits that come in practice, the habits that come in taking care of yourself.
There's a lot of similarities between, you know, not just Mack and Devo, you know, but a lot of the other, you know, superstars too in the league.
So there's a reason when guys are special and able to, you know, play at the highest level, there's a reason for that and
A lot of that comes to the stuff that they do off the ice and taking care of themselves and getting ready for the game.
