So I completely appreciate that.
That is where a ball striker will find it much easier to put the ball to 20 feet pin high.
And what might look like an average shot is actually an excellent shot.
So I couldn't agree more here.
Like, I just think that those kind of courses like Hoylake, Muirfield, I'd like to think where I play golf in Port Marnock is exactly the same.
You could be looking at someone from 20 feet away and that might look like an easy shot in the middle of the fairway, but you don't actually know that, you know, the Toter Club is two inches in the air, you know, and
they you know they i remember i was playing the ninth in port marnock and port marnock doesn't photograph well it is truly a wonderful golf course but i got low light one night and the 50 hours before the green just popped andy you know and i'm forever hitting run-up shots that night green in port marnock instead of hitting sandwich in or whatever and you could just see all these one foot little mounds rippling across and everything you know it showed everything about uh micro versus macro but you know back to burkdale
I've played it several times, many, many times, and I've learned to embrace that it has such drama.
And I'm really desperate not to use the term championship links and the test of execution, but it really does bring out the best when it is firm and it will be firm in a few weeks.
And it is a completely different style of links golf, but albeit it is links golf and it is so much superior to the product that we get.
48 weeks a year Andy on TV and it is just a little bit different to those Hoylegs to those deals to those Muirfields but it is to be completely celebrated I absolutely love it every time I go there because as I say Variety has been taken out of golf out of our the product on TV is completely different we're so lucky to get Shinnecock this year
But, you know, we're kind of deprived.
We're starved.
There's a dirt of this sort of stuff.
And Brookdale, you said it's down your list.
You don't seem to have a burning desire to get there.
And I appreciate you want to go to all these places.
You know, you love Ely, as I mentioned, and you probably want to go to Formby and all this.
But Brookdale is a monster amongst these golf courses as well.
It's just in its own way.
