But back in January, we recruited really well and we went and played.
We had a really horrific Christmas.
Half our squad was injured and we'd lost a few games.
We lost to Wimbledon.
We had 20 shots on goal.
They had one shot and they scored.
And that game, basically, they won 1-0.
And I was actually in tears driving away from that game.
I was so deflated.
And I just felt, you know what?
We've got a really good squad, great group of lads.
When they come back from injury, we're going to go on a run.
So I put out there, I was so confident we would make the playoffs that if we didn't, I stepped down as chairman.
Now, obviously, points per game has thrown us out of the top six.
After that tweet, by the way, we went on a run.
We won seven of the next nine games.
