It's reputation, and it's kind of what he's established in terms of, like, recognition as a name.
In the past, we had auteur directors, thinking the 1970s, the movie brats as they were known, Spielberg, Scorsese, Coppola, this wave of directors that, you know, studios trusted and allowed to make films.
They continued into the 1990s, Ridley Scott arguably as well.
And the issue is that round about the 2000s,
Hollywood stopped having a machinery that allowed develop that sort of talent, right?
So if you think of directors whose names you know, like Tarantino, for example, arguably Paul Thomas Anderson, that kind of stops...

And the thing about Nolan is Nolan gets in just over the line.
Memento, which is his second film, but the film that really establishes him, that arrives in 2000.
And then he goes on, he makes the Dark Knight trilogy in 2006 through 2012.
And after that, he's off to the races.
But there's no infrastructure at the moment in Hollywood to develop another Christopher Nolan, which I think is why.
That's for the reason you outlined there, which is Hollywood has kind of shifted its business model in recent years, where it is no longer about the marketing of individual films, and particularly not about the marketing of particular talents.
And you don't even have to look to directors to see this.
Think of movie stars.
How many modern movie stars are there?
When we think of movie stars, we think of Matt Damon, who is the lead of this movie.
Yeah.
But when did they emerge?
They emerged in the 1990s and the 2000s.
