There's no longer the space that Nolan would describe of the medium-budget studio film that allows you to understand how studio mechanics work.

Those movies don't exist anymore because those directors don't get the chance to make them.
And the reason they don't get to make them anymore is because studios don't want to make those movies anymore.
Studios are primarily interested now in franchises.
So we've already mentioned the specter of Marvel.
But if you look at the summer in terms of like movies like The Odyssey.
What is out there in terms of movies like that?
You could point to maybe Digger, which is the Tom Cruise, Alejandro Añerto movie, which is coming up in a couple of weeks.
Maybe Disclosure Day a couple of weeks ago, which was the Steven Spielberg movie.
