We have a system in place that's supposed to debate these issues, decide how, you know, to to deploy our forces, what's acceptable, what's not acceptable. podcast-host

Those are all things that like the people, the nation, you know, through whatever institutions that we've got in place to do it, maybe they're terrible, but we have them uh in place. podcast-host

That the nation can make these decisions and I go carry those things out. podcast-host

And, you know, it's really easy to look back on countries that aren't our own or ancestors that aren't ours or something like that and decide that, you know, that's not a valid excuse for things you do, but you know. podcast-host

Uh we'd have a hell of a lot of guys making uh that excuse here for ourselves if we ever like, you know, lost one of these wars and ended up on trial, you know. podcast-host

the problem though, right, is like, okay, when did when did that guy join the military? podcast-host
