So I think that him going to a Super Bowl contender, he's already accomplished everything he's wanted to do on the field as far as personal stats go, two-time defensive player of the year.

He's the Browns' all-time sack leader, single-season sack record holder for the National Football League, right?

Maybe just climbing the actual sack total ranks in league history.

But he's accomplished everything individually he can.

But the Rams can give him something that the Browns, unfortunately, never have been able to give him.

And that's an opportunity to compete regularly in the postseason and try and get to and win a Super Bowl.

I said last night that I felt this was part of the residue of what has ultimately been the worst trade in NFL history combined with the worst contract in NFL history.

And had things worked out with Deshaun Watson, Miles Garrett would have been a lot happier in Cleveland.

And he'd probably still be a Cleveland Brown to this day.

Wow.

The timelines are different, right?

Garrett is a point at 30 years old.

Again, he's accomplished everything individually.

You probably could imagine he'd want to accomplish.

He wants to go win, and he wants to win big.

Browns can't give that to him.

The Browns are still in a – they don't want to call it a rebuild.

I'll call it a rebuild because they have really spent the last three years getting the roster much younger, much more team-friendly from contract standpoints and whatnot.

trying to shy a little way from spending big dollars in free agency to bring in the veterans like they did a few years ago when it appeared back in 2020, 2021, where they were positioned.

to be a perennial contender, and that all fell apart on him.
