So, yeah, this Deshaun Watson trade really set the Browns franchise back.

I'm sure there's some around the league that would say, or around the country, rather, that would say, hey, the Browns got exactly what they deserved for making that trade with everything that Watson came to Cleveland with from a baggage standpoint off the field.

But, yeah, had Deshaun Watson been healthier and more successful on the field,

I am convinced in no way, shape, or form would have Andrew Barry entertained a trade for Miles Garrett.

Well, Shadur's getting a chance there.

It is a legitimate two-man competition.

Last year, it was supposed to be a four-man competition, and it just really wasn't.

Joe Flacco ended up starting that season, and if I remember correctly, I think the first week of training camp, he didn't get a single first-team rep.

So that's what a farce that was, and Shadur Sanders got no meaningful reps during training camp.

Uh, and in fact, there were drills where he was throwing to ball boys and assistant coaches because they ran out of wide receivers is they would go through some of their drills.

So, uh, sure.

Sanders is getting first team reps this off season.

Same with Deshaun Watson.

They're alternating, uh, them between them so that their gay is equal as possible.

Although, uh,

Head coach Todd Munkin has said that he can't guarantee that the equality is going to continue moving forward.

Munkin did tell us yesterday that it's going to be very important these next six, seven days, including the remainder of the OTAs, as well as next week's mandatory mini camp.

When it comes to the quarterback competition, there is a lot of thought that Munkin wants to go into camp with a starter set so they can spend the entire training camp preparing with that starter set.

for the upcoming regular season.

But Shador Sanders is certainly getting a much better shot at being the Brown starter than he did a year ago under former head coach Kevin Stavansky.
