And everyone, like Trump, says they back the blue until they see a cop walking up their driveway with a subpoena.
So he's doing the Trump playbook thing.
It is hard, though, to think that the Merrick Garland Department of Justice is targeting him.
Why?
He's a Democrat, our biggest city, because he said that he didn't agree with the Biden administration on immigration.
The same Merrick Garland, who's also prosecuting the president's son, Robert Menendez, Henry Cuellar.
You know what is interesting?
The Department of Justice could not indict Donald Trump when Donald Trump was president because they have a policy against indicting a sitting president.
They don't have the same policy about indicting a sitting mayor.
Well, he wasn't, I mean, this guy's not in jail either.
Well, one of those being accused of violence, sex trafficking, racketeering.
If Trump were accused of those same things, I think he'd get pretrial detention.
