By go into county, Tom means the Davis County Sheriff's Office headquarters, about fifteen minutes away in the city of Farmington.
Based on the timeline from the official report, Tom dropping by could have only occurred between seven twenty five and seven forty five PM.
It's the only time Chief Ray Adams and Officer Dave Anderson were together at the FENA station.
This is roughly the same time Officer Anderson called out that attempt to locate over the radio.
But again, Tom says he couldn't stay and help because he was going to the county.
I don't remember why I was gone in.
This was a Friday after business hours.
It was a federal holiday.
The sheriff's office would have been closed, but that's where Tom says he went.
