We were still going through some nuances, but I think in that last, in the time period that the Mets jumped in full bore ahead and that it ended up being that their short-term offer ended up being so much that they decided to take the short-term offer rather than the long-term offer.
I don't know that for sure, but that's what it's appeared to me.
And I, but I do think he was sincere about that.

Well, we really were not interested in doing that type of deal.

And I told him what my thought processes were at that point, which was to...

And he, of course, gave his blessing into that regard.
