Um, you yourself have to kind of look at it.
You look at the historical aspects, you look at, I mean, uh, um, not that I'm going to go into blow by blow by it, but at this winter time I was at a meeting and, um,
Buster Posey came up to me and I've gotten to know Buster a little bit.
It's not like we're real close friends, but it was just a curious conversations.
And I respect him, always respect him as a player.
That speaks for itself.
And he's a great player in the way he handled it.
And he said, let me ask you a question.
He says, why does the industry not put more dollar value on some of those things?
And we had a long conversation about it.
and it's hard.
I think probably the way it is.
Now, what you don't know and I mean JT's outstanding, right?
He handles the staff well, he does all those other things.
But there, for example, let's just say you had a catcher that just did, let's say they hit 150 and they did all that.
What would you pay that person?
I don't have that exact answer, but it's one of those where it's a combination of the value, the defensive performance and all that, and the hitting aspect of our game.
I mean, you look at defensive shortstops throughout the years.
So the game has rewarded offense in many ways throughout the years.
Yet there are some positions that are more defensive.
