So look, health hardware was a term that Dr. Fred Hollows coined or certainly used, one that we've freely pinched.
Health hardware specifically is the parts and the hardware in the house that has a direct impact on the health of the people living in the house.
So a tap, a shower rose, these sorts of things.
Ah, look, absolutely.
It can impact on crowding.
It can impact on many of the health goals that we aim for in somebody's house, you know.
And at simplest, it can prevent someone from having a shower or going to the toilet, using the house.
You know, if you think of the house, if you think of the house as a health provider, if the house can't provide those amenities for someone to stay healthy, then it's not really a house.
It's just a pile of bricks and steel.
Yeah, that's right.
Look, at the worst, somebody won't shower.
And so then you can't get rid of the bugs and infections that cause so many of the infectious diseases.
At best, someone may go next door.
Maybe, for example, there's a new house that's been built next door.
They'll go in seeking to use the shower, shift into family's house next door, exacerbating crowding in that new house, putting extra load on the health hardware in the new house.
And before long, pretty much every house in a community is relatively dysfunctional.
Maintenance is absolutely fundamental.
The issue is functionality.
