So from Davies' perspective, you say, yeah, it makes a lot of sense.

And I would also say the discourse surrounding him and questioning him, questioning his commitment to the program, I think that's unfair, frankly.

We're not in his mind.

We're not in his body.

We don't know how he feels.

My guess is if Alphonso Davies is fit and ready to rock, as he tends to do when he's actually healthy, then he's playing.

But clearly he woke up.
