I mean, I keep saying this until my face turns blue about, you know, a lot of these social issues that we see down at the community level, these are generational things.
You know, like there's people like me that have managed to break the cycle coming from a gang family.
But Jesus took me a long time.
It's possible to change.
the fine print with the right support.
And I think people don't really get that.
You can't change these things in three years.
How can we all work together?
How can political parties work together so that, okay, this is the plan, and the plan must be led by the community, invest in these groups, and understand it's not going to be easy, but life will be better for our grandchildren if we continue.
You know, we had Tammy Davis, I interviewed him earlier, and he spoke about, you know,
He said, my mum did the best she could with the tools that she had.
And even a guy called Ben Puruah, who's on a podcast, he ended up going to jail for manslaughter.
Turns his life around now, doing amazing.
But he realised his life was different.
And he said, I was at my mate's house staying, nine years old.
