So at Georgia Femme, my contract wasn't renewed.

It kind of came out of the blue.

I thought that I was doing everything I could to hold on to my job.

Obviously there were a few issues there.

I'm not a saint, but there was nothing there that meant that my contract shouldn't have been renewed.

But then at the same time, bro, I'd been there for eight years, and it was probably time to move on.

I went home, I told my wife and she said, it's probably a blessing in disguise.

You just don't see it at the time.

And actually, in all honesty, bro, it has been.

Because it's really kind of, when you're waking up every morning and the expectations are on you, it's a tough job, bro.

It's a hard job, Breakfast Radio.

And when it's only two people, most of the big shows like The Rock and MyFM and stuff, they have three people and a couple of producers.

So you can kind of lean on each other and stuff.

But at George FM it was just me and Lee.

So we had to come up with everything on our own because poor Mouse, our producer, had to do all the producing on her own.

And that was a hard job for her, just being able to do all of that.

So yeah, just in regard, coming back to your question, yeah, I did feel a little bit blindsided by it all.

Didn't really see it coming.

I asked for an explanation.

They didn't give me one.
