President Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, is among those who will be sitting down with Iranian officials today in Oman.

The focus will be Iran's nuclear program.

The White House wants Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions.

Last June, the U.S.

military struck three Iranian nuclear sites.

Currently, there's a large buildup of American naval assets in the Middle East.

Ahead of the talks in Oman, Witkoff was in the region for negotiations to end Russia's war with Ukraine, as NPR's Charles Mains reports.

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, former Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have agreed to testify as part of a congressional investigation into the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

NPR's Elena Moore says the Clintons are sparring with Republican lawmakers over how they'll testify and whether the depositions will be public.

Eight more staff members at the U.S.

Attorney's Office in Minneapolis are resigning.
