So when you are going to be married, you either get to have one or the other.
That is my stir the pot today.
I think some people really love that stuff.
I know Bailey's a big fan of things like that.
I mean, I like those things, but the people that I know who have been married, they have done both, but the bridal shower is more for their family, like older family members.
And then the bachelorette party is for all their friends who want to go out and get shots.
And I thought about saying, well, like if you have like the bachelorette party for just friends and bridal shower for family, sure.
But I'm sticking to it.
You get one or the other.
And I've gone to both for all of those.
And my thing is, is I feel like I'm coming off as like a salty single woman right now who potentially will never get married.
But it truly isn't that.
It's the fact that we're spending so much money on... And you're getting the same things.
The same things you get at a bridal shower half the time are like the same things for weddings.
Maybe not so much anymore because weddings usually just give money now.
But there's a registry for a bridal shower.
There's a registry for the wedding.
And I think bridal showers are kind of outdated to an extent because those were developed back in the day when you didn't really live with a partner.
