And Republicans got very cocky, I think, because very few reporters followed up and proved the White House was just lying to people and saying you're going to get something special from Trump and not giving it to them.
The MAGA base did not care.

There's a lot of email from Republicans that is framed as, you're going to get an exclusive political briefing with the president.

They do that kind of sales, and there's just a little bit of hubris about how nobody cares, that nobody's going to notice anything.
if they offer something they can offer, or if they use that sort of photo of Trump.
But it really, I don't wanna repeat myself too much from the first answer, but it's just, there is a lack of shame from the Trump political operation because they hear Democrats complaining and it just sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher.
They just think it goes nowhere, it's wimpy, they don't need to listen to it, this is all from losers.
They've talked themselves into that.
