I need to have a lot of money to become an investor.
Those are the three biggest lies.
In fact, it's worth saying them again.
If I make more money, I'll be rich.
If I make more money, then I'll save.
I need a lot of money to start investing.
None of that's true.
And what happens to people is we hear about money more now than we used to because of things like this podcast and social media.
And I think there's I think there's more knowledge about personal finance than there probably was 40, 50, 60 years ago.
But we hear about in our 20s and we don't necessarily do anything.
Then we start to think about it in our 30s.
We don't always do anything because now we're getting married and we're having kids and we're stretched.
Then in our 40s, we start to worry about it.
You know, I'm not really sure I'm saving enough money.
I'm probably really not saving enough money.
And then in our 50s, we start to hyperventilate.
And I can tell you as somebody who's gone around the country and gone around the world speaking for years on stage, when I ask a room, what is your number one regret when it comes to money?
Anyone who is over the age of 50 will tell you their number one regret is they wish they had started sooner.
And what I can tell you is this, wherever you are today, today is the best day to start.
