What we want to do is make sure we realise that and I suppose capitalise on that and make sure that we can eke every single benefit out of it for the communities that support it.
So we have three different pillars within our strategy, facilities, football development and League of Ireland.
Each of those pillars is trying to address a key challenge or opportunity.
So facilities, obviously, I've talked about the chronic underinvestment.
Now, we have made significant inroads by virtue of that facilities vision that we developed a couple of years ago that outlined that 863 million gap that needed to be filled.
I am delighted to say that, you know, that galvanised our community to stand up and shout for what they need.
But also, more importantly, for government to kind of recognise the need for investment and the value that it can derive for the country and those communities.
So we secured 112 million euro in 2024 across those two funding streams, which is a record number.

That was an 82% increase on the previous round across large scale sports infrastructure fund.
That was north of 300% increase on the last round.
So we have made big inroads.
However, we can't solely rely on government.
They will be the
I suppose, the primary thing that's going to shift the dial in facilities.
But we also want to look at what we can control ourselves.
So we've set about establishing a global Ireland football foundation, which is a philanthropic play to introduce additional investment into the grassroots facilities.
So that's pillar one.
