uh elite talent like that isn't gonna sit on the sidelines very long.
I mean I I think the uh you know this is gonna sound a little weird, but the good news is Donald Trump.
Like he doesn't wanna do anything and he's not going to do anything.
And so instead of this, you know, quick sprint frenzy uh and panic induced legislation, the likes of which we saw last in uh the run up to you know, or the immediate aftermath of nine eleven with the
Patriot Act or the immediate aftermath of the Lehman brothers' collapse with the bailout and the TARP law.
I don't think we're going to see that because Donald Trump doesn't have any interest in it, and therefore the Republicans don't have any interest in it.
And so, you know, what does that mean?
Is that where we can go from here is I think with information collection.
There was a hearing, a shadow hearing this week.
Week by the uh Monopoly Busters Caucus, which is led by uh Pramilla Jaypal and Chris Deluzio.
And they took testimony uh both from people who were inside some of these companies.
Uh I think they had a former meta executive in there, uh, along with people who have experienced real harm.
They had a woman whose son uh uh you know killed himself uh
after being encouraged by a chat bot.
So um I think, you know, the bet uh to the extent to the extent that I see skepticism, it's more of a a a a yearning to actually know what's going on.
Right.
And we are seeing that in some circles.
I guess I get to wear a hoodie after that.
