So they're not incentivised to sell forward.

Gas generators historically have sold quite a lot of their power forward.

But as we bring on more renewable generation, they're gonna have less and less of a baselo generation role and more of a peaking role.

So they're not gonna know when they're going to generate or how much they're gonna generate.

So it becomes much harder for them to sell forward their power.

Nuclear generation.

Again, something close to my heartworking EDF is something that's been a big source of forward liquidity historically, but a lot of the existing nuclear generation fleets will come towards the end of its life and will start to stop generating and stop sending forward its power.

And the new nuclear that's coming online has a contract for difference.

So that will tend to sell at season ahead.

So you've got not got many generators left who sell forward.

And one of the big sources of that is the older renewable.

Mobile generation on the renewable obligation scheme where they're looking for a fixed price PPA contract, and where we as an off-taker can offer them that, take on that risk.

And one of the ways we manage that risk is to sell forward the power.

If we move all of those on to a day-ahead linked contract for difference, which I'm assuming is what the wholesale CFD will be, then there is a concern over how do suppliers continue to edge forward, how do large consumers

that might do their own trading, continue to buy forward the power that they need to try and get budget certainty in the medium term.

Yeah, I'll try and close with a positive message.

So really interesting analysis, really interesting discussion.

Maybe sounds a bit scary to a lot of people.

We've we've talked about some big risks, lots of things that could change, declining value of wind.

Actually, I'd turn that around a bit and say we're here to help.
