I thought, looking at the team last night, Andrew Orson played well.
There was a few players, I know John McGinn got it because obviously he got the goal which was at pinball to a point.
And I'm just, I'm looking, Jim said it there as well, this season in Scotland, right, with the Rangers, Hearts and Celtic, it's been an absolute chaotic season the way it worked out.
I think he's looked at it and said, I need to enjoy it.
I need to go and make the team enjoy it.
And the way that Andy Robertson's delverised the squad with a wee gift at the start and all that, and a wee letter to the boys to gene him up, that'll live with every single one of the players.
Yeah, sounds good.
Yeah, Andrew, congratulations to Celtic for winning the double.
I think it's a very unlikely double at one stage as well.
In terms of Lauren Shankland, I think it's just fitting in the most dramatic of Scottish football seasons.
We then get one final twist, one final subplot, and it is Lauren Shankland
going to Rangers incredible story I need to mention my colleague Robert Greve that's got his son who kind of dropped a bombshell last night it's obviously developed again today over what's happened but I fully expect Lauren Shanklin to be a Rangers player within the next 24 hours yeah it's an incredible development
Yeah, I think it will be.
And to be honest with you, Andrew, I think it's now at the stage where it's up to Martin O'Neill now if he wants to stay.
I think if he feels he's got the energy for it,
I think there seems to be a groundswell probably over the last 10 days building that I think a lot of fans would be pretty happy for him to stay and a lot of people at the club staff behind the scenes would like him to stay and I think it all comes down to what he wants obviously Desmond will decide and I would imagine guys like Robbie Keane are still very much in the conversation but I think to win a double and to do it in that scenario in the way Celtic have done over the last week
I think it puts Martin on pole position to get the job and it all depends if he feels he can go again at the age of 74.
Any player I know it didn't turn out to mean anything His goal But to come off the bench Literally run straight up the park The ball just dropping to you Within about 20 seconds And your first touch In a Scottish Cup final being a goal What a moment that would have been Yeah it was brilliant As you say Andrew First touch in a Cup final And to do it right in front of your own fans It was just I was exhausted watching Neil Lennon yesterday At the side of the pitch Especially in the first half Because he was not happy With certain players I mean he made three subs at half time And I think
he'd set the team out with direct instructions of how to try and stop Celtic but for whatever reason I think Neil after the game used the word spooked but he did get a reaction in the second half I thought for the first 20 minutes Martin Neil even said that after the game that Celtic really really toiled to almost cope with the pressure the Inferno were putting them under they settled again obviously Iannaccio shows his class with the goal but yeah I think the Inferno can hold their heads high after what they put in and it was good for their fans 17,000 fans great support turned out yesterday to get that goal in the second half
