So they've been excellent this season.

yeah it's strange for me and again you break it down you look at all the elements that the manager has to bring in recruitment I think his recruitment has been excellent I know that's not just on the manager there'll be a recruitment department that brings in but he plays a huge part in the players that he wants and again the players that are already there

your Paul McGinn's your Stephen O'Donnell's they are different players now they are absolutely different players from last season so that for me is a measure of how good a manager is he's changed the way that them guys play the way that them guys believe they can play and they've been outstanding this season but I just think the way he's brought the whole team together the style of football that he plays again talking about being brave he's brave at every single stadium he goes to whether it's a home stadium or away stadium plays the same brand of football but it's excellent as well and

I played with Stephen at Kilmarnock and he's a great lad and a fantastic footballer as well.

But listen, when I watch him this season...

compared to when he was at Kilmarnock and he was a lot younger at Kilmarnock he's a completely different player again he looks as if John mentioned it he looks as if he's got a new lease of life but again it's down to confidence it's down to information it's down to practice as I mentioned before

day in day out these guys are practising the way they want to play they'll work on it they'll work on playing through the first you even watch Motherwell's warm up for me is different because the play passages are playing the warm up just to get used to the way they want to play in the game get that intensity get that ball moving get a visual of what you can do on the pitch and

And yes, I'll look at Stephen O'Donnell.

I think he was outstanding at the weekend.

Absolutely brilliant.

And he's definitely a different player this season.
