So first of all, I would say the information you gave us around the consulting, your use of consulting is useful to have explicitly in that report.

But I would also say this is also a good context to say what would another person mean,

you know, the way that question is often asked is, what if I had a different tool?

So the one that I'm sure that I can guarantee the one that the council wouldn't want you to say is, we'd like to replace the portal.

Although I think,

from the people, what you've heard here and what we've heard from you, that actually would probably be a high payoff thing.

So I think that would definitely try to include some analysis on that about what would that mean if, I'm sure that's gonna be a big investment, half a million bucks or a million bucks, right?

What would that mean to your ability to do your jobs and serve the public?

So there isn't any reason that you would do this in a subcommittee.

I personally doubt that it would be possible to have a productive subcommittee that has balanced, you know, that gathers balanced feedback, you know,

in a way that can be done better than what we've asked the building department to do.

We've had a number of kind of anecdotes here, which are, you know, the personal experience of the people on the Planning Commission, right?

So to try to avoid that problem, I would just say, you know, we've given a clear direction to the building department.

Yeah, actually, if I could ask a little, you talked about the rescoring that was done on projects that had things like removal of parking impact or removal of driving lanes.
