meeting
So there's a property that is opposite the gas station that is fenced off right now.
I think it is the old outback.
And so the thought process is if a building is leased or occupied by Apple, we would not touch it, but we just did that with the Panera site, right?
And with the, yeah, with the Panera site, I guess.
Yeah, I would definitely support the corridor on that stretch to be included, partly because we just have a precedent with the harvest properties, I think was the site.
that changed use from apple to to uh to something else and partly also because this is a numbers exercise and so if the lot owner in the future wants to do something it's their prerogative but you know this is a corridor with no resistances adjacent to it and we should make it take advantage of it if we if we can
Right, and I think it's actually a precedent we have.
Harvest properties just changed from...
what is it, 100 something homes now?
110?
SO IF IT WERE LEASED, IF THE PROPERTY WERE LEASED, NOT OWNED BY APPLE, WOULDN'T THAT BE SIMILAR TO THE HARVEST PROPERTY?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
right thank you very much we will now resume the planning commission meeting and go back to more questions from the commission commissioner rao thank you chair um so i noticed staff had the villages prometheus on this as a potential site i would like to offer up the mclellan terrace at a low density as a potential site
The reason being that's a 1960s vintage property, several reports of leaks from current occupants and recent tenants that left.
So lots of problems with that site, as I've heard.
So there's potential for a 1960s property to hit end of life at some point shortly.
Again, I would keep it at the lowest density possible.
I think it's 17 DU per acre right now as currently built, and I would try to keep it at 5 to 20 or whatever is the minimal we can do.
We want to be very sensitive to McClellan Road, but if we can keep it as low rise housing that is basically rebuilding to a more modern product, that's an option to think about.
No, that wasn't the proposal.
