And I think emotionally, I was just completely drained.
But I think, you know, I did come home and it was like...
just put the brave face on, you know, and like straight into work, you know, I was trying to figure things out.
And like you said, like, you know, I was doing a few interviews and I kind of just told a party line and I'd say, this is, yeah, no, it's good.
And managing it and yeah, blah, blah, blah.
But inside I was suppressing an awful lot of the emotions.
And just the frustration and the anger.
And the hard part about that was probably it was the people close to me that would see that.
But if I was leaving the house, you put the mask on and you try and just put a brave face, you know.
And also, I didn't know how to articulate how I was feeling.
And, you know, people always talked about the transition from sport into the real world, you know.
And I just put it down to that.
It's just a transition.
I'll get through it.
I'll get through it.
One day I'll wake up and it'll all be okay.

Yeah, it was, it was.
And that's the thing, I remember, I remember I got a phone call from the High Performance Director at the time, Kevin Ankrum in Athletics Ireland, and they had signed a new deal with this brand.
And basically, they were like, look, they're looking for someone in Ireland, it could be an opportunity.
