And I remember kind of saying to him, like, I don't even have a CV.
And he was like, look, come around and we'll sort this out.
So I went to him and he helped me put a CV together.
And that's the thing, I did a business degree and stuff like that.
And, you know, you'd always go through, like even leaving search, like doing a CV.
But I had nothing to put on it.
And I'm writing it down going, like, there's nothing here.
So he helped me with that.
And then the sole thing I looked at at the job was how much were they going to pay me?
That's all I looked at.
And I felt pressure kind of, you know, even socially, my mates were like 10 years in careers by this stage and you're kind of starting from scratch again.
And I kind of felt as well, like, you know,
I was a runner but now who am I so identity and is that what people thought like oh he was a runner well what are you doing now there's also a heaviness with I'm behind my mates I'm behind my mates that's a treadmill in your mind I would think it is absolutely and I think as well like you come from sport and you know I tasted success and I had performed and
So I kind of felt the next phase had to be at that level.
It had to be or else I was a failure.
And then people would talk to me and go, what are you doing now?
And I'd feel like I'd have to kind of give some elaborate story about I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that.
And it's all about high performance.
And I got obsessed with high performance.
I used to go on social media and I'd start following all these high performance gurus and stuff.
