I didn't want to go out with friends.
I was sick of the questions.
What are you up to now, Gillick?
Yeah, and then...
A new job and kind of same scenario.
Again, you kind of go, what's the job?
The job will fix everything.
And I think what I was doing as well was, you know, from working Monday to Friday and then other opportunities might come off the back of, say, sport or the back of even MasterChef.
And I'd say yes to everything because I was searching for that one thing.
You know, I hadn't accepted where I was at.
So I was searching for one thing that was just going to fix everything.
Okay.
And like the grass was always greener as well.
That could be better, that could be better, that could be better.
And I just ran myself into the ground, you know.
No, kind of what amazed me, like, you know, it was like kind of peeling back the layers of the onion, like going back to things as I was a kid, you know, the way I felt, the way I acted, you know.
maybe there was something like an event that kind of impacted me and kind of, you begin to make sense.
Oh, maybe that's why I feel like this a little bit, you know?
So, and that's the thing about, you know, professional counselling, like they kind of press the buttons a little bit and allow you to talk and almost through talking, you begin to make sense of things a little bit.
And like a lot of, I suppose, the situation I was in, a lot of it came from retiring from sport, you know, abruptly.
