And there was a number of things in that.
One, the time zone.
So like people are turning it on at an hour, that suits.
So everybody's watching it.
I also think that there was a shift in terms of the Irish sporting calendar.
So there wasn't a whole lot of GAA in August.
And I think the only show in town then became athletics.
And I think that kind of happened again last year as well.
So I think, you know, you're always competing as a minority sport to get the airtime and get the coverage.
And I think we've been lucky in the last couple of years that August tends to be a bit of time when athletics can really kind of power through.
It's crazy.
Like I was getting stopped on the street that I live and people are all talking about, you know, international names.
And they knew all the Irish, like by first name, like Rashida, Charlene, Sophie, as if like they're friends, you know.
Yeah, they are.
And I think what's great as well, like they're well able to talk and, you know, even social media has kind of really played a role in that.
They can share their stories, they're creating a following.
It does all help, yeah.
And like, you know, one of the things that I try to kind of really do in Paris in particular was get the international kind of athletes as well because...
you know, when I grew up, you tended to switch to BBC to get the international interviews, you know, whereas maybe we just focused on the Irish and if there was no Irish in the event, well, then we wouldn't kind of essentially cover it in many ways.
So even the likes of like Femke Ball and, you know, Noah Lyles and all these sort of, you know, superstars of the sport, you know, that's what you want to kind of get across.
