You know, both, and Beasley was brilliant because, yes, he had, I mean, he led a life that was,
you know, testing, mainly for the rest of us, who didn't have quite the same physical makeup.
So it was a quiet night out with Ian, and you end up being carried home by ambulance.
You know, he's up there at eight o'clock in the morning with a cigar and a cup of coffee going, what's wrong with you?
So, you know, the incredible sort of strength, literal strength, just going through.
And also, he's very good at resetting.
So, I mean, one of the things you need to be able to do
whatever the sport is you're playing, is if you've had a bad day, you need to reset and keep your self-belief.
Now, once I was standing on the stage at Lourdes when we'd both finished playing ahead of another Ashley series, I said, well, come on, be honest, have you ever had a moment of self-doubt?
And he said, no.
Yeah.
And that's, I mean, I know we've all had it.
I know he's had moments of self-doubt.
You can see it.
In a dressing room, you can't hide.
But that's the way he would, but he would never admit it.
So two things he doesn't do are self-doubt and hangovers.
