with us not borrowing money other than buying Christmas merchandise and selling it off and getting out of the short term debt in December.
Well, it was so bad uh d you know, that I thought there was a good chance we would go out of business, you know.
And it was a time that I thought and God just uh
You know, I think prior to that time, if you had to describe who I was, uh I was a Christian, but I think I was a Christian that was just not totally committed, you know. 'Cause I would all we'd always done good and I would always say the right things.
But i I really learned a lesson in that time when I found myself physically under my desk, just crying out to God.
Yeah.
Climb underneath that.
Climb under w we still have that oak desk because it it reminds me of of where I need to be.
And that was on my knees.
I found myself on my knees crying out to God because I we were going to go out of business.
Absolutely look that way.
We we lost a lot of money that year.
The bank was threatened to foreclose on us and so I said, God, I need some help, you know.
And so that was the time that I think was pivotal in my life that I I changed from a
saying the right thing Christian and trying my best to do the right thing Christian.
And there's two different Christians.
And so that that was the pivotal moment in my life.
Yep.
Well y yeah, sorta yeah, I uh uh
You know, I I look back at the time and I'm a preacher's son and so I can I can say the right things, uh, about being a Christian.
