But I think in generally terms, if it's not specifically Cam Jordan, you think veteran edge rusher.

It's a fair interpretation of the way the Bears responded.

I don't know that that is true.

I think that it's more to me, and I think that's a really fair conclusion or assumption, or it could be as simple as they misread the board.

They misread the board, and they tried to move up, and they couldn't.

And all of a sudden, in the second round, there was a run on edge rushers and then defensive tackles.

And Bull, by the way, by the time it got to the Bears at 57, the board had spoken to them, as they like to say in the draft room.

And you know what the board had said to them?

We're all out of pass rushers.

Well, that's interesting.

Let me ask a follow-up there then.

Are you suggesting, I don't want to put words in your mouth, drafting Dylan Thienemann put them on a path that led to them not getting a defensive lineman?

Well, I think that's the thing that's baffling because when you draft a safety at 25, the right safety and I think the right guy, he's going to be a good bear for a long time.
