They may not believe that he saw an alien or a spirit or something, but I think most people believe that he believed.
And the same thing, if you listen to interviews that his daughter has done even decades later, she comes off as at least that she believes this person.
and other sort of unusual high awareness things such as, you know, the daughters could come, but after a certain age, they don't go out into space anymore because girls just don't explore space.
So Tania Derenberger eventually writes down her version of the story in a book called Beyond Langulus, which is basically her growing up
with being occasionally visited by this alien entity and its family.
And she remembers that, yeah, he smiled once in a while, but not like crazy.
Not that smile that her father latched onto, especially the first time.
You know, that he smiled often, you know, he was friendly enough, but that he had a complete variety of facial expressions.
In fact,
It definitely does seem that there was somebody who eventually or originally took the mantle of Indrid Cold that would visit the Derenbergers.
And like I said, it appeared at, according to his daughter, at Woody's funeral, but that nobody recognized them.
And not only that, it was a funeral, so he wasn't grinning and smiling.
He wore regular black clothes.
And he had aged.
He had grown older, just like human beings.
And she does have a picture that does appear in her book.
And it looks like a picture of anybody's older uncle attending a family event wearing black clothing and a white hat.
Despite, you know, some fame, and she did write a book, Derenberger and his daughter really didn't make any money off of this.
And he's going to go through a lot.
