Now let's get back to the Sky Sports Premier League podcast.
Everton have continued to show that they are a team to be feared when they are away from home.
Three points for David Moyes' side here at Villapark.
And he is with Pete.
And actually, when you think about the players missing, Ashley, they are through the spine of the team here, whether it's AFCON or whether it's injury or whether it's suspension.
You know, Keane and Garner Gay and then Jai and Dewsbury Hall.
It's the spine of his team.
It is, yeah, and it's tough, obviously, the boys that are away on AFCON.
They'll be coming back next week, but I think especially them two and Keane and Dewsbury Hall, when they've been missing...
results haven't been as well as they could have been.
So that's been tough.
Obviously, you know, being suspended as well was tough.
But, you know, the way that they went about their job today and the effort that all the players put in, it was great to see.
And, you know, like David just said then, they worked in it a lot all week.
The players will know that they had a job to do.
They knew exactly how well drilled they were and, you know, what an Aston Villa team were going to do today.
And,
I think for every man, from the goalkeeper to the striker, they were fantastic.
It was tough at times, it was hard, but for the work rate that they all put in to get the reward of the three points here, it was a massive result for them.
And whilst he praises his squad, he's obviously delighted, he only put eight on the bench, two of whom for goalkeepers.
