There was a volunteer there who was friends with one of the state troopers and he was just helping the people there that were also stranded because there were a lot of cars parked there.

He had a map on his cell phone and he showed me the path.

If I were to walk, here's the path that will get you to Johnson City.

It was two in the morning and I had to be there at 10.

So I've only got about eight hours to make this all happen.

I knew enough about the region to know that I was about 20 or 30 miles from Johnson City, somewhere in that range.

I'm doing the math in my head.

I can do it walking if there's no major difficulties along the way, but I got to get going right now if I'm going to make this happen.
