And my girlfriend at the time, my wife now, we've been married.
Well, we've been together for over 30 years.

Yeah.
That's insane.
Yeah.
So it was me, her, my uncle, some friends.
We were drinking.
Yeah.
I was acting ignorant with a, had a gun and accidentally shot and killed a guy.
And at the time, I mean, imagine, you know, I'm 16, this happens.
So I panicked and we kind of wiped the scene down and dipped out.
So it was thought to be,
suicide for the first couple years yeah and then when they found when they found out the truth they chart and you know they didn't know it was an accident so they charged me with first-degree murder Wow and how'd they find out the truth just oh you know what one of the people that were there that night
was telling the story to their husband who was in prison and he wrote a letter and tried to get less time.
No way.
By saying, hey, my girlfriend was here at this thing and you guys think it, you know.
Wow.
Yeah.
um so yeah that was enough for a charge because that's just uh eyewitness well that was enough to open up the the case and you know and so then they uh went back and started interviewing uh other people and uh eventually came to actually when they came to interview me about this i was already in jail
