I believe it was like driving on suspended license, but I had done it so many times that they sentenced me to a year.

Wow.

So I was in jail.

I was a trustee.

I was about to get out.

And then the detective show up to question me about this.

And, you know, I'm in this basically, you know, like an interrogation room and they hit me with all the, all this, all of their speculation, you know, they're like, we know that you,

went in here and cold blooded and this and that.

And, um, and they're like, now I'm supposed to be getting out in like 30 days.

So they're like, they say, you know, what you say to us today is going to determine whether we charge you with first degree murder or, you know, something lighter.

Um, and luckily I had enough sense to say, I need an attorney.

Yeah.

And, um, so I, you know, they, they charged me with first degree murder.

Um, obviously I was already in jail.

They took me from the trustee pod and put me in maximum security.

um and at the time you know i literally thought my life was over wow um and uh i think that's probably the first time that like the first time in my life that uh that i turned to god um i know it's kind of cliche because everybody that goes to jail turns to god um but i truly think that that god is uh i mean i believe i know that god

you know, spared me.

And over, well, okay.

So eventually the charges were reduced to first degree manslaughter, which murder doesn't have a bond.

Manslaughter does.
