He was gone even from the yellow jersey group.
All they had to do was just kind of basically just get Mazda to the sprint.
If it was with the yellow jersey group, it didn't matter at that point.
So that went on for a bit, but then EF,
kind of took control and eventually Visma.
But again, that group at the front, because you almost had, and we saw often Mads Pedersen talking with Carapaz and the Lidl Trek guys talking with the EF guys, kind of, I think there was at the beginning, there was an alliance in the sense that Lidl Trek said, look, we'll ride here and just don't attack on those climbs.
Like I said, the group got away on the first climb.
Then there was the second climb and there would be another climb before the final sprint.
And it was almost as if Lidl Trek went up to EF and said, look,
We know you guys want the stage.
We're not interested in the stage.
Just don't attack on the climbs.
Don't try and thin this group down.
We'll ride and keep it ahead of that yellow jersey group.
And they went into that alliance and forgot, I think, or prioritized and decides it doesn't matter if I use a skull mower as a sixth and seventh.
The green jersey is the most important.
We can sacrifice fifth and sixth and put them in sixth and seventh if we secure the green jersey.
Are they really doing that?
