I've seen quite a few teams come here and open up, and I've not had the best results.
They scored a screamer as well, but you seemed to be unhappy in the build-up, is that right?
Yeah, I thought Lanzini had been fouled, and actually if you look at the area he scores the goal from, I think Lanzini would have been in that area to defend it, but I've had a look at it and the referee got the decision right and it wasn't a foul.
No, it doesn't affect my thinking.
The club, I'm only here for seven or eight weeks, so the club should have an idea of what's required as well.
I think the big thing is to make sure we try and get away from the bottom end of the table.
We don't want to fall back in, and I do think we need some extra players.
We're short, we're quite well endowed in some areas, like up front we've got a lot of players to choose from, but we don't have it in other areas, so we'd like to try and balance that if possible.
But it's not always possible.
Do you feel that you're ahead of perhaps where you thought you'd be when you arrived at this point?
I think with the batch of games I had when I came, I thought, you know, these look really difficult and where are we going to be at the end of it?
And when I came into the club, we were in the bottom three and we've only just got out and there's a long, long way to go.
So if we keep playing like that and trying to play better when we play other teams, then hopefully we'll do enough to make sure we're not at the bottom.
Well done tonight.
Cheers, thank you.
Harry Ardagh getting sent off then the momentum swung back West Ham's way and we said it didn't we said there's going to be a goal here they're going to get one here you could just feel it and it was it was it written in the stars almost although when we look at the at the goal again Charlie Daniels perhaps could have done better at the far post so they'll be kicking themselves Bournemouth a lot better second half poor first but nothing to show for it and that that's always tough to come away and you know you've got another game without a win.
Yeah, but look how high he is there.
I think today the most important thing has always been the points, because it's always important to win the games, especially at Derby, especially for our crowd, because I know how long I've been waiting for this moment, and for the reason I'm really pleased, for the players and for the crowd.
David, commiserations, how did you see it today?
Really well, because I said since we arrived, since we started this pre-season, that the club had worked really well behind the scenes.
