And our next peak is 2030.
So in the book, I understood that I could see the decline of America, the rise of China, and the drumbeat to that change was this cycle.
And with this cycle peaking in 2030, we would see global conflict erupt around 2022, which is exactly what we saw with Ukraine and a prediction I'd made 20 years beforehand.
And I think within that context, Ukraine is, and what's happening in the Gulf, they are the Third World War.
They have the commonality of being enabled by China, both Russia and Iran, in so many ways, as if China was throwing rocks at the West, and China will engage in a kinetic war, and all of Africa and the whole of the world will be subject to their attempt to take it over.
So in the end, it'll be China versus the world.
And for those people that think there's an accommodation with China, they really need to study its social engineering program, its repression program to its own people, the magnitude of its ambitions, and realize there is no compromising with a tiger when your head is in its mouth.
I think the first thing I'd say to you is take those rose-colored glasses off.
When 1914 came along, most people could not comprehend there would be a war with Germany.
Why?
Because there had been Pax Britannia and Pax Britannia had created global peace.
The German-Prussian element was intermingled with the royal family.
And believe it or not, the business entwinement was incredibly high between the economies of Germany and Britain and the rest of Europe.
So they concluded there could never be a war under those conditions.
Now those are remarkably similar in some ways to the Chinese relationship economically with the world.
So my first comment is do not believe because you're entwined by trade that that prevents people from going to war when you have an expansive aggressive system that thinks now is the time.
The next thing is
that essentially we are asleep.
We have been asleep because of Pax America.
We have been asleep because we are at the late stage of empire where linearization dominates our society.
