We then superimpose wars to make it even more difficult to survive because it forces lateralization, which is ultimately the most powerful human antientropic behavior we have because it's creative and super productive.
And that's our world.
So in that world, you have lived in a very luxurious period, an anomaly, where our ancestors built a big bubble in the form of an empire.
And you are the children of those ancestors that have lived in an easy world.
And I hate to say this to you,
because my generation have bequeathed you a totally different situation.
They have bequeathed you the most chaotic of worlds where war will consume us, adaption will consume us, and the paradigm in Ukraine is coming everywhere.
There's nowhere to hide.
And don't feel victimized.
Don't feel as if you've been betrayed.
It's part of the cycle of humanity.
And the softness of a generation is going to have to be replaced by resilience and toughness, which will ensure that your children survive and continue.
So I say it because don't take it personally, but what's coming is a tidal wave of reorientation.
And part of that process is fascinating because empires are built in the construct that you serve the system you're part of.
You're proud of it.
Imagine you're following a rugby team in South Africa called, you know, Springboks that wipe everyone out every time they play them.
You want to be a follower.
You want to tell everyone you love them.
You want to say how amazing they are.
Absolutely brilliant.
