I'm always going forward and I'm always doing something.

What's next?

I'm not looking at what's behind me.

I'm I'm sailing towards the horizon and whatever's in front of me is like that's my focus.

And yeah, uh boxing's kind of been the only thing I've been able to stick to in terms of following a uh, you know, a clear path.

Uh and I I set out some

big goals for myself early on, which was the uh a Commonwealth Games gold, uh an Olympic gold and to become a professional world champion.

Um and I missed I got the wrong shade of gold at the the Olympics, but uh I'm I'm yeah, I'm looking I'm getting pretty close to the professional gold now, so

Yeah, yeah.

I got my first one when I was eighteen.

Glasgow.

Just just um it was pretty special seeing the the Kiwis perform over there just gone.

I I've I grew up with it and I've always loved it.

I'd uh I think it's a great springboard for our athletes to to to get some some uh time in the limelight, you know?

Like I saw athletes that I'd never even heard of uh winning winning medals and it's like, okay, so maybe w I I feel like it's the opposite.

I feel like, oh, maybe we should be paying attention to you know, this uh this judo uh fighter or combatant.

And like I d I d don't know anything about judo, but you can flick on the channel and find a uh find out something about a sport you never knew anything about.

It's like that's exciting.

And it's it's uh it's a career high for a lot of those athletes.
