And that includes people that are dealing with the cost of housing, health care, wars, jobs, energy prices, retirement, their kids futures.

The presidency is a serious job with enormous consequences.

And we need someone who is both capable, engaged and interested in doing the core job.

And when the president is regularly sleeping through official events, people are entitled to say, are you really treating the responsibilities of the office with the seriousness that they require?

Now, there's also this really strange paradox with Trump that I've thought about before.

Take the golfing.

Trump spent years just hammering on Barack Obama for playing golf.

And he said Obama played too much and he should get off the golf course.
